Patrick Gaines, Sr.

Patrick began his long and varied political career fifteen years ago with his first job out of college. As a new graduate from the University of Oklahoma, Patrick went to work as the legislative assistant to the House Republican Caucus. Patrick served in this position for three years, learning the ins and outs of the political process.
He left this position and went on to serve as the Political Director for the State Republican Party, Legislative Director for the State Insurance Department and as an assistant to Higher Education Chancellor Hans Brisch.
In 1999, Patrick left state service and began his lobbying career working as the Executive Director and lobbyist for IMPAC, Inc., a statewide medical group. In 2003, Patrick formed his own consulting company, Gaines Government Services, which specializes in association management and healthcare.
His other love is real estate, a vocation he began as a child working with his parents real estate investment firm. He is currently the President of Gaines Properties, LLC and is the principal owner and partner of Shadowbrooke Property Holdings, LLC.
Patrick holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters degree from Oklahoma City University. He and his wife Jennifer have boy/girl twins and reside in Heritage Hills.
