What is a Sustaining Club? It is a club that gives to the Rotary Foundation a check representing $100.00 per member each year. CLICK HERE FOR A LIST OF SUSTAINING AND NOT-YET SUSTAINING CLUBS
How can a club become a Sustaining Club? The $100.00 per member has been met in different manners by various clubs. Some clubs have their members donate 50% of the Sustaining Fee per year ($50.00/year) and the club matches it. Some have the members and clubs donate a different percentage than the 50% -- but however you wish to have your club set this up -- the donations do substantial humanitarian work throughout the world.
What are the benefits of being a Sustaining Member? -The benefits are many and awe-inspiring. By giving each year to the Rotary Foundation, you support the different RI humanitarian projects around the world. -Financially, the gift is tax-deductible. -Additionally, your fee for the Bi-District Banquet is no longer $100 + Ticket price, but simply the ticket price of the meal. This year your fee would be $35.00.
So, let’s all do our share -- Every Rotarian, Every Year! Let’s have all our clubs in our district become Sustaining Clubs!
