SUSTAINING CLUBS 2008-2009

What is a Sustaining Club?
It is a club that gives to the Rotary Foundation a check representing $100.00 per member each year.

How can a club become a Sustaining Club?
The $100.00 per member has been met in different manners by various clubs. Some clubs have their members donate 50% of the Sustaining Fee per year ($50.00/year) and the club matches it. Some have the members and clubs donate a different percentage than the 50% -- but however you wish to have your club set this up -- the donations do substantial humanitarian work throughout the world.

What are the benefits of being a Sustaining Member?
-The benefits are many and awe-inspiring. By giving each year to the Rotary Foundation, you support the different RI humanitarian projects around the world.
-Financially, the gift is tax-deductible.
-Additionally, your fee for the Bi-District Banquet is no longer $100 + Ticket price, but simply the ticket price of the meal. This year your fee would be $35.00.

So, let’s all do our share -- Every Rotarian, Every Year!
Let’s have all our clubs in our district become Sustaining Clubs!

YES!! More and more are stepping up to the plate!
PLEASE email District Governor Ronnie Valdez when your club becomes 100% sustaining.
